Peat Moss

This all-natural hypnum peat moss is farmed, milled, and produced in northwest Montana. It is an important component of many custom potting soils and is a great medium for seed starting. It can hold several times its weight in moisture, and is able to release that moisture to a plant's roots as needed without rinsing out nutrients.

Alone, peat moss does not make a good potting medium and should be mixed with other ingredients (between one-third & two-thirds of the total volume) to create your own custom potting soil.
